The SHEQUAL Foundation is a not- for-profit organization dedicated to revolutionizing the ecosystem by ensuring equal perspectives for both men and women in all actions affecting their lives. Its mission is to recognize, respect, and include the individuality of women. Shequal identifies existing loopholes, conducts need-based assessments and research, and collaborates with women aged 9 to 40 from various regions across 7 different provinces, territories, ethnic groups, and backgrounds. Initiated from two community initiatives, Girls in Tech Nepal and Women in Big Data Nepal, Shequal began its operations in February 2020. To date, it has successfully completed 50+ physical events and 100+ virtual events, reaching all 7 provinces, impacting the lives of over ten thousand females. It has also forged partnerships with over two dozen organizations and boasts a dedicated team of 45+ volunteers and staff spread across Nepal.

Girls in Tech - Nepal

Founded in 2007 by Adriana Gascoigne, Girls in Tech is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating the gender gap in tech. 

GIT has more than 60,000 members in 50+ chapters around the world.  We are committed to building the diverse and inclusive tech workforce the world needs.  Our aim is to see every person accepted, confident and valued in tech – just as they are!

Women in Big Data - Nepal

Women in Big Data (WiBD) started as a grass-roots organization in 2015 with the mission to inspire and connect women in Big Data careers.

The WiBD community has grown to over 17,000 members across 37 chapters and 6 continents. Our goal is to spread inspiration, grow networks and promote member success on an ever-expanding platform.
