How does it work?
Matching will be finalized by Shequal’s team based on the correlation between mentor and mentee, their field of interest, personality profiling, and area of expertise. During this program mentors and mentees meet virtually to discuss given topics on a weekly basis, exploring a range of facets from career goal setting, leadership and emotional intelligence, networking, and more. Mentors and mentees can be expected to make a 25 to 30-hour time commitment over the length of the program for meetings and preparation for meetings.
What’s in it for the mentors: The chance to reflect upon their own choices and learn new
insights that could help them, but also the opportunity to make a real difference in the career of another person. This is often reported to be a very fulfilling and rewarding experience and one which is tinged with fresh inspiration and insights into the industry as seen from the perspective of the mentee, which can be transformational in itself. Mentoring provides an opportunity to increase your profile and your professional networks. Also, it enhances mentoring skills, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
