Shequal facilitates and advocates for women’s participation in governance institutions and for improvement in female access to justice and legal services. We diligently monitor the implementation of laws and policies related to gender equality and hold governments and other actors accountable for their commitments. We collaborate with other organizations, government agencies, and international bodies to amplify their impact and reach a wider audience. This includes joining coalitions, participating in networks, and collaborating on joint projects and initiatives. Shequal provides training and capacity-building programs to women and girls to empower them with the knowledge and skills they need to participate in decision-making processes. This includes leadership training, civic education, and workshops on human rights and gender equality.
